Guide to Wood Finishes

Guide to Wood Finishes

Our collection is made by skilled Mexican artisans who transform raw materials into beautifully crafted pieces using traditional tenon joinery techniques. Each piece is constructed from solid Rosa Morada wood frames, which are chosen for their natural beauty and character. As time passes, the wood will continue to age and develop its own unique patina, adding to its overall mastery and appeal. Choose from our selection of custom finishes to create a one-of-a-kind piece that fits perfectly into your home.

Our range of finishes is designed to showcase the natural beauty of the wood grain, whether it's the layers of silky, matte natural wax or the bold, contemporary black hue. We prioritize versatility and timelessness in our designs, highlighting the natural materials used in each piece.

CARING FOR YOUR WOOD PIECE

Your wooden furniture is a stunning example of natural art, and it will develop even more character and beauty as it ages gracefully over time. As with any natural material, it's important to care for it properly to help it last as long as possible. Here are our recommendations for taking care of your wood piece:

  • To keep your wood pieces looking their best, use a damp cloth to gently wipe the surface, along with a non-wax polish or mild detergent solution. Avoid using ammonia-based products or silicone oils, as these can cause damage if used over an extended period of time.
  • To prevent damage to your wood piece and its finish, it's important to avoid exposing it to prolonged direct sunlight, high temperatures, and high humidity.
  • We recommend to always use a beverage coaster; otherwise, enjoy the added character and aging process that happens over time.
