Where Earth, Heritage, and Handcraft Unite
Hi, I am Francisco Martínez
Francisco works with ancestral skills passed down through generations. After spending a decade away, he returned to his hometown in Oaxaca and found his way back to clay. Embracing the legacy of his forebears, he began creating pottery using time-honored techniques—breathing new life into the traditions he was born to carry forward.
Oaxacan Clay Mezcal Set
Handmade using natural elements to create a unique design, this mezcal set includes a carafe, a tray, eight cups, and a center bowl for Gusano salt.

Clay colored by the earth that shaped it
Francisco’s ceramics are a true reflection of his connection to the land. He cultivates organic copal and tobacco on his own property, blending their leaves and sap into the clay to create his signature deep, smoky tones. Other natural shades—like warm neutrals and soft greens—come from minerals he carefully sources from a nearby mine. His work is grounded in a deep respect for the natural world, offering a color palette that’s both raw and refined—rooted in place, and rich with meaning.

We celebrate slow design and timeless craftsmanship—handmade by artisans across Mexico.
From Oaxaca to Chiapas to Querétaro, each maker brings their own story, culture, and ancestral tradition to every piece they create. Together, they keep heritage alive through work rooted in meaning, beauty, and purpose.
